With the wishes that this spirit of peace will spread and cover all over the world like meridian.” THINK SOUTH FOR THE NEXT. - 今から 30 年前、各国から集まった 6 人の冒険家が、環境と平和を訴えるメッセージ「THINK SOUTH」を胸に、世界初となる南極犬ぞり横断へと出発しました。約6,400kmを踏破して全員が無事ゴールするまで、言葉や文化の壁を越え、共に過酷な自然と闘った 8 ヶ月。GORE-TEX ギアもこの壮大な挑戦をサポートしていました。「THINK SOUTH FOR THE NEXT」は、当時彼らが考え世界に発信した現代社会の問題に改めて注目し、次世代へ継承していくプロジェクトです。
