I went to Nantan City in Kyoto to try out Botanical Dyeing, which is using plants to dye materials. At the time I went the plants had roots that were a beautiful dark red, so I decided to make light-pink socks. Even though it's not as easy as using chemicals, it was more fun because it is natural and a very fun experience.
