The latest October issue of VOGUE JAPAN showcase the beauty of monochrome cinema. "The Story of the Last Chrysanthemums" entails a popular kabuki actor and a wet-nurse, whom are separated by class and are forbidden to be in love. The story of two star crossed lovers are one of the rare films by Japanese legendary director, Kenji Mizoguchi that has been preserved prior from WW2.
