土着的な日本の歌のDNAを残しながら、USインディなど洋楽に影響を受けたサウンドとメロディ、そして等身大の歌詞は、音楽シーンに一石を投じる存在として幅広い層から支持を受ける。個人の活動では、冨田ラボ、neco眠るの楽曲へ作詞、歌唱での参加。
NHK Eテレ朝の0655『こたえはいつも３』、おやすみソング2355『尾道の渡し船』や、
NTTコミュニケーションズのweb CM、花王のCMなどで歌唱、ポッカのCM『じっくりことこと』では歌唱に加え役者として出演するなど多岐にわたり活動中。

Singer and guitarist of ‘never young beach’ and writes their entire songs.
Yuma is considered as the man to cause a stir in the music scene as his melody and sound - DNA of native Japanese music inspired by the indie music of US and Europe - as well as his life-sized lyrics has gained support by wide rage of fans. For his solo projects, he has collaborated with artists including Tomita Labo, and neco nemuru. He sings “Kotae wa itsumo 3” of the morning show ‘0655’, as well as TV and web commercial songs such as ones of NTT Communications and Kao. In a TV commercial by Pokka, Yuma not only sings but also appears as an actor and is actively broadening his field of activity.
