This is Ziggy. He inherited these climbing pants from his father. When Ziggy started to become interested in climbing, his mum told him that there was a bag of old climbing stuff in the attic where he could maybe find some gear. Ziggy snagged his dad’s old pants and started climbing in them. His dad is 10cm smaller, so the pants are a bit short, but Ziggy’s into the 'old-school' style. His father bought them in ‘85 or ‘86 and they are nearly a decade older than their current owner. Ziggy said, "My dad probably wants to claim them back when he sees the repair!". Way to keep ‘em going Zig, climb on!⠀

I recently sent in a pair of pants and had them fixed. I have owned my Patagonia pants and have been canoeing in them for over a decade. I was so grateful to have you guys repair them. Now they are back in circulation and I will continue to use them hopefully the rest of my life. Thank you so much. I noticed that on some of your posts with items that you have repaired that there is a crest that is sewn onto the garment. What are the chances of me acquiring one of those crests to wear proudly! I would love to wear one of those on my pants. Thank you very much. Sincerely Mike.

I don’t who runs this account but I need to tell this story. I went to Patagonia like 6 months ago and did some exchanges and left the store. About 2 weeks ago I get text from my sister and it’s a voicemail from the Patagonia store in Pasadena saying that they had a gift card for me that has been there for the past six months!! You guys easily could have just thrown away the gift card or given it away, but y’all gave it back to me. ? I will forever and always be loyal to this company. Have a good day

1) I love Patagonia and was soooo excited when you guys launched Worn Wear 2) does this mean that repairs from now one will have a Worn Wear tag affixed? If so is it typically done outside the garment?

I ripped the butt *literally* off my favorite climbing pants. My wonderful mother built my pants a new butt out of upholstery fabric. “Now they’ll live through anything.” #wornwear

I still have my first Patagonia pullover. It’s forest green. Bought it @ 1985? Whoa. 34 years!!!! And guess what?!?! No holes. It’s totally vintage.

Where can we post our home brew repairs of gear? I'm glad Patagonia is leading some repairs but we need to encourage people to repair their own too.
