(FOX 2) - Tracy Reese is a fashion designer, and Detroit native, who has designed for celebrities like former first lady Michelle Obama, and actress Gabrielle Union. She's returned to her hometown to launch a new collection called "Hope for Flowers". Reese has partnered with DPS Foundation, Detroit is the New Black, Wayne State University, the Industrial Sewing Innovation Center (ISAIC), St. Luke's N.E.W. L.I.F.E. Center in Flint, MI, Detroit Institute of Arts, and College for Creative Studies to help provide opportunities to local communities socially and economically. She spoke with FOX2 to talk about her journey in the fashion world, and what it takes to be a celebrity designer.

I have a stripped dress that I bought from @anthropologie I think a year ago. Still haven’t worn it bc I NEVER go any where but I HAD TO HAVE IT and it is my FAVORITE dress ever. I love that you make pieces that not only look great but they look amazing on different body shapes and sizes.
