For a variety of reasons, some US Moto Z2 Force models will not receive the Android 9 “Pie” update. The Moto Z2 Force model sold by Verizon will receive Pie as it is necessary to enable the 5G Moto Mod. We are committed to providing two years of Android security updates on all Moto Z2 force devices. While we always caution that our update plans may change, Motorola regrets any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause our loyal consumers. -Zeke

coolkidros23 Hey Moto, I got the pie a few days ago on my moto g6, and i don't know whether i should manually add apps to the restricted apps list. Could you please help me with the battery drain issue? I don't want to contact the moto repair and service because it's not a battery issue it's a software one.

ricardo_antei22 Why will the Motorola Z2 force no longer update to Android 9.0? I have the Sprint US variant and the July patch just arrived and nothing from Android 9 while some devices have already updated to that version
