That’s magic. That’s Akwafina. These amongst many other reasons is why I absolutely love Nora. Fully, absolutely and wholeheartedly. Her new film The Farewell (coming out on Friday) embodies all of the above. It’s a beautiful, sensitive, thoughtful and powerful film. Deliberate in pacing and intentional in nuances, it deeply resonates with us. It’s one of the best films of the year, for sure.
