jacquelineraque One of my very favorite paintings. The candle’s glow, her expression, the light...it’s just incredible. The one thing I’ve always wanted to change is the title. The church even said she wasn’t a prostitute in the ‘60s. Pls, Met, this should be revisited as she had nothing to be repentant about.
