Nagauta and Shamisen recital! I’m now learning about Japanese traditional singing, and today was my second recital for “nagauta” singing, the first time for “shamisen” playing. It’s completely different from western music structure and it’s sooo cool! I really proud of our deep culture!
長唄と三味線の浴衣会が終わりました。ふー！吉住小与ひで先生と望月太喜之丞先生をはじめ、生徒さん皆さま本当に素晴らしい人たちばかりで、わたしのような西洋かぶれで門外漢の礼儀も何もわからない者にも優しくしてくださりありがたい限りです…。秋には吉住会の大きな発表会が今度は東京の国立劇場であるんだそうで、わたしも参加させていただく予定で、ビビり倒してます…！！！頑張ります…！！！ #長唄
