I felt 💩 & 😕 But I really didn’t want to let those feelings ruin my day. So I decided to make a list: ~ 𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗘𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗔 𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗞 ~ • Listen to music at the maximum volume and dance dance dance 💃🏻 • Do one chore, ANY chore 🧹 • Go for a walk outside with my phone in the pocket🚶🏻‍♀️ • Play piano 🎹 • Read a book, even just 1 page 📖 • Tell myself “I am amazing. I am awesome. I am valuable. I am capable. I am beautiful and I am loved.” every time I go to a bathroom looking at the mirror with the biggest smile as I can 😁 • Workout, just 10 push-up or/and 30 seconds plank x 2 🏋🏻‍♀️ • Text/phone a friend 👭💌🤙🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Guess what! I CHECKED OFF ALL OF THEM 🙌🏻🤩 and I felt so accomplished and driven! I was really proud of myself and that I took care of myself in the best way I could. Also today I feel so good about myself and feel so pretty with the best natural makeup 💄 I’ve done in a while 😍 ( See it in #IGstories ✨) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Life doesn’t always go with the flow or go as expected. But it’s really important how you take those “funk” days - do you make it an opportunity to love yourself a bit more than yesterday? or just let it eat away at you and get affected by negativity? We can’t allow ourselves to wallow in self-pity or wait for windfall to come. Life happens - just because. Accept what you have for the moment and learn to appreciate it 💛 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you are having a bad day or feeling in a funk today or next time you feel this way, I hope I inspire you to FIRST accept those feelings and give yourself lots of self compassion, and then turn them into a self-care & self-love day ♥️ Remember not to be hard on yourself & it’s OK to feel not ok.
