The subject matter of "Glass V" is distilled to its essential elements, rendered in vibrant, unmodulated planes of colors emphatically outlined in black, and enlarged to a height of nearly six feet. The result is a dynamic, enigmatic sculpture that plays with optical illusions, oscillating between two- and three- dimensionality, transparency and reflection, and painterly and sculptural visual language.
