カラーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (カラーInstagram)「💥ARTIST NOTE DON’T GIVE UP💥 What you see here and what I see here are 2 different things. This is a story that was untold , in 2012 I began a reboot on my life. I began by burning everything that had came before , all my bridges all my contacts all of the identity I’d built over the last 15 years. I started all over again with nothing from the ashes of my previous life. I didn’t have money for food, paint or anything but I’d made a firm decision to find myself through creativity. I was not going back I was moving forward , if it killed me I was going forward. Close friends would see me and say can I help? I’d say buy me paint.. buy me food, this often shocked them because they couldn’t understand what I was doing .. on friend said get your portfolio together and get a job .. I said “ fuck that bullshit I have a job I’m an Artist” By 2013 I was so very excited to get 6 or 8 cans of new paint. I remember I had to choose paint or food and I chose paint.. 💥so let’s get to what you see here, this is 300 cans part paint for my next mural in Oakland CA , it will be the longest mural in Oakland ! So what do I see ? I see a life full of beauty, I see all the times I struggled , and how they have faded from my mind. I see the proof that if you want something with every once of your being it can and will happen.. I see a man who willed this into existence, the road has been long and by no means easy but I know I will find a way to always travel down this path that I am so very blessed to be on. This mural has been in the works since 2014 I have tried to get it done since then.
