The poems Eduardo Kac produced and presented online, such as "Reabracadabra" (1985), pictured above, expanded the possibilities of writing by incorporating the dynamism and mutability of digital technology. The pre-internet telecommunications network Videotexto allowed Kac to explore the possibility of “immaterial” art, which could exist in many places and for many people at once, with no real original.
