David Lebe's series "Jack’s Garden" is a love poem to Jack Potter, who nearly died in 1996, just before he and Lebe began drug combination therapies that they continue today. That summer Lebe photographed the extensive garden that Potter, a horticulturist, cultivates around their home. His gelatin silver prints look deceptively straightforward but in fact are complicated, luminous translations into black and white of the garden’s colorful tapestry. See more of these works in "Long Light: Photographs by David Lebe" through May 5.
