British-Korean artist and model Sangwoo @sangwo0 never expected to become a model. He debuted in London Fashion Week at the age of 19 and immediately captivated the world’s top designers, becoming the face of London’s menswear industry and modelling for international brands including Burberry, Kenzo, Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, and DKNY. Yet modeling has always served as a platform for him to achieve his ultimate goal—being a successful artist. Trained at Central Saint Martins, and using painting, video, photography and fashion design to
deconstruct his own personal identity, he has shown in various exhibitions in London, Berlin, Frankfurt, Milan, Istanbul, and Lagos. He is the first non-stateside creative to be profiled in our video series, #TheoryAtWork.
