MIWA KOMATSU: DIVINE SPIRIT opens next Tuesday at Whitestone H Queens, in parallel with Art Central 2019

This exhibition showcases the artist’s latest works including her acrylic, mixedmedia paintings, koma-inu sculptures and scroll paintings over Hakata-ori textile. Komatsu has drawn inspiration from various cultures she’s experienced, articulating her observation and senses from the places through vibrant, powerful paintings that intrigue viewers with other-worldly sensation
