Tomorrow is #MacaronDay! If you're flying overnight straight to Paris, you can make it time to have macarons for breakfast! #justsaying

I wouldn’t recommend flying with Air Canada, especially after this experience.
We left YVR on March 15th 2019, flying direct to Delhi, arriving March 16th 2019. When we arrived at Delhi and went to go pick up our luggage at the belt, our luggage, along with the rest of the flights luggage was missing. We reported our luggage missing in Delhi, since then my mother and cousins have been calling Air Canada, and Air Canada has been giving them different information each time we call.
When I tried to call Delhi Airport to inquire about our luggage, since apparently it has arrived in Delhi (according to the customer service agent my mother spoke to, in Canada) they don’t answer or it says the user we are trying to call is busy. I did manage to get in touch with the Mumbai Airport and they won’t even give me an answer since it doesn’t effect them, but they did manage to tell me that our luggage is in Delhi.
No one from Air Canada has attempted to make a effort to update us at all. How can Air Canada run a business like this.
I’m sorry, but it’s kinda hard to agree that they are the “best airline in North America”

If you are considering flying Air Canada, consider my experience first.
I flew to New Delhi via Toronto on March 1st. The first major inconvenience I suffered at the hands of AirCanada left me, a young woman traveling alone to Asia for the first time, stranded in the New Delhi airport in the middle of the night. Our flight had to be rerouted and was two hours longer than initially planned. They did not announce this before or even during the flight until maybe 1 hour before we had initially been scheduled to land. There was no WiFi on the flight, so I could not inform my host that I would be arriving late. On arrival, after sitting for over an hour waiting at the baggage carousel, I discovered my bag was lost. As a result of this late landing and because I had to wait to fill out a form for my lost luggage, I was not able to leave the airport until 2am, at which point I could no longer stay at my airbnb and was forced to stay overnight in the airport. I lost the money I paid for the airbnb, and I had to pay to get wifi at the airport in order to inform my host and my family that I was ok.
