#HelenMarden: Join us tonight, from 6–8pm, for the opening of "Helen Marden: Tivoli" at Gagosian, 976 Madison Avenue, New York. The exhibition features more than twenty paintings, all from 2018.

Raw powdered pigments are mixed into resin, which Marden pours with both intensity and control. While the resin hardens, Marden augments the compositions with acrylic paint and more unconventional materials such as seashells, beads, and plastic. The organic qualities of the paintings featured in "Tivoli" are enhanced by the use of bright neon hues, translating the grit of postwar abstraction into the techno-exuberance of today.
