Had some wrist time with the new #Panerai #PAM984 Mike Horn Edition Submersible that was announced at SIHH 2019. This 47mm Submersible case is made out of recycled titanium (EcoTitanium) while the strap is made out of recycled plastics. Approximately 3 water bottles go into making each strap. Even the watch box that it comes with is made from recycled plastics.

Pair that with the LAB-ID esque dial and engraved writing on the slightly domed crystal and you have the makings of a very interesting looking submersible to add to the lineup. Thanks to my good friend @mrpinglife for helping on the shot. #PaneraiCentral

navycross Would be great if Panarai sold these straps as an eco/vegan option. Not all of us want calfskin/leather for our submersibles and some of the straps on the second hand market just don’t have the quality or strength it seems.
