This "Jar with Dragon and Clouds" from Korea, Joseon dynasty (1392-1910), 18th century, features a scaly dragon with big friendly eyes, sharp teeth, small horns, and a lively mane. ? This jar was used by royal family. The brilliant blue color is made from fine cobalt oxide pigment. ?See it in the Hammer building, level 2.
