We’ve got a full day of events this Saturday, all centering on @chrisevargas and #MOTHA’s “Consciousness Razing." From 10 a.m. to noon, families are invited to our #FirstSaturdays program, where they can explore a scale model of Christopher Park, then head to the Sky Room to collectively design a park of their own, adding monuments, plants, or other elements they would like to see in the imagined landscape. At 3 p.m., Vargas and artist #SharonHayes will present “Stonewall is Not Here Yet,” a series of readings on queer liberation presented by a panel of artists, activists, lawyers, and poets. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., we’ll present “ALTERNATE ENDINGS, ACTIVIST RISINGS,” a series of short videos commissioned by @Visual_AIDS as part of their #DayWithoutArt.
