本日はPORTER OSAKAにて展開中の「ポーター クレド」のシリーズよりブリーフケース(S)をご紹介いたします。底部が楕円形をした独特なデザインで、カーブを美しく表現するためにしなやかな革を採用しています。切り目仕上げには革にある程度の硬さが必要ですが、この革は両方の特性を備えた上質な素材です。切り目部分は熟練の職人が手作業で丹念に磨いており、手触りも滑らかです。薄マチで、すっきりしたフォルムですが開口部は下まで大きく開くため物の出し入れがしやすいのも魅力の1つです。

Introducing a briefcase (S) from “CREDO” series. The bottom is unique oval shape, and the flexible leather is used to make the curve beautiful. Also, for sharp look of the edges, the leather needs to be firm. The leather for this series is well balanced and has both. Skilled craftsmen polish the edge carefully to give a good touch feeling. It’s slim, but the opening goes to the bottom for easy access to the inside.
