Atera Keikoku’s Beautiful Cypress Forest
(Okuwa Village)

Atera Keikoku is a gorge that is known for its beautiful waters. 

Around the gorge is a beautiful cypress forest, and there is a walking trail that runs through it. The trees growing here were planted some 120 years ago.

It is currently designated as an “exhibition forest” and is protected by many people.
