Mount Chausu(#茶臼岳) locates in the Nasu district of Tochigi prefecture.

It is the peak of the Mount Nasu(#那須岳) range, and measures 1,915 meters high. The mountain is an active volcano, and you can see the smoke puffing out of the peak.

You can hike your way up the mountain, or take the ropeway from the foot of the mountain to the peak. .
Either way, you will be greeted with some #breathtaking views.
