Always admired at my late grandparents’ house (much cultured than my apartment). Grandma was a Japanese calligrapher as you can see, Grandpa had beautiful green fingers, and both were educators at high school. They were fully open minded for sending their daughter to study abroad, yet loved their quiet life in a countryside. #japanesehouse #japanesecalligraphy #japanesecalligraphyart .

亡き祖父母の家の和洋折衷、いつ見てもイケてる。今は主人不在であちこち傷んでますが、和室も細部凝ってるし、玄関は二階までの吹き抜け、祖父の庭も宝箱のようでそれはそれは見事だったんだよ。
