Pop-up store history etc.) • Year of brand establishment: 2008 • Designer: Merou Fukushima Merou Fukushima was born in 1988. She grew up surrounded by nature from an early age, and was fascinated by the colour and strength that nature produces. With the influence of her grandfather, who was a Japanese painter, she began to draw pictures of nature as she felt it. After graduating from a hairdresser vocational school, she transformed the nature that she had kept in her drawings into women’s accessories through her unique interpretation. Product manufacturing process She creates a collage of flowers using died-flowers from her parents’ garden, originally-designed metal fittings and resin molds. From colouring that matches each flower collage to shaving and polishing, it will be all completed by hand, one by one. .
