“IKIRU” ... Kurosawa’s masterpiece meets a new musical!! Amon Miyamoto did the greeeeaaaat job. I saw the shows of both leading Actors. Takeshi Kaga is well known by Iron Chef and Les Miserables, Masa Ichimura had just played NINAGAWA Macbeth at Lincoln Center this summer. Wish this made-in-Japan title would be exported to the world as it is.
