Hyundai Commission: Tania Bruguera – 10,142,942 is now open in Tate Modern’s #TurbineHall.

#TaniaBruguera invites visitors to think about what it means to be a neighbour by taking part in symbolic actions. Reveal a hidden image beneath a heat-sensitive floor, experience subsonic sound waves and produce tears from an organic compound. Free entry.
The work’s title is an ever-increasing figure: the number of people who migrated from one country to another last year added to the current number of migrant deaths recorded since the beginning of the project.
