Auguste #Rodin’s “The Three Shades” can be found on top of “The Gates of Hell,” but he also made an enlarged, stand-alone version that is the #RodinMuseum’s garden. The shades are ghosts from the underworld, and embody death, sleep, and a loss of consciousness. #repost Photo by @mr_wick.
