Today is #BiVisibilityDay, an annual event dedicated to celebrating #bisexual people, shining light on the B in #LGBTQ+ (bi individuals make up half of this community in the UK) and raising awareness of discrimination faced by #bisexuals worldwide.

This is a self-portrait of Gwen John, said by friends to be one of the best likenesses of her. Although the sculptor Auguste Rodin was the artist’s great love, she had a number of other relationships in her lifetime, with both women and men.
