Flip phones are about to make a big comeback... sort of. Samsung will release a foldable smartphone this year, DJ Koh, the CEO of the company's mobile division told CNBC.
But don't worry, the foldable phone isn't just a return to the traditional flip phone, which relied on a hinge to connect two parts. Instead, Samsung is likely to focus on creating an actual screen that bends.
