Erika Oliver (@evisualizer) may be a graphic designer by trade, but for her first Afropunk Festival, she’s moonlighting as a stylist. As her date, BMX rider Chad Douglas(@chaddouglas_), explains, Oliver added her signature touch to his outfit. She dressed him in a Guess denim jacket, the sleeves of which she cut off herself, adding chains, locks, and rings for extra flair. For her own gothic look, she brought into play some hometown edge: she picked up the leather harnesses at sex shop in Dallas, Texas, where she lived until moving to New York just a few months ago.
