Inevitably the answer is different for each of us, and for most that concept will change at different points in life. For me, the most recent shift came about four years ago with the birth of my daughter, Golden. To say it straight, her happiness and well-being are what drive me. It’s that idea that motivates most, if not all, of the major decisions in my life. I believe that’s what being a parent does to you. That being said, this issue was created with her in mind—to put together a group of some of the most amazing women we could find, from diverse backgrounds and fields, women who define their chose paths and open the door for others; women who serve as role models for all of us: young and old, male and female. Women who inspire me because as the father of a little girl, I know that for her, anything will be possible.”
