Dear Boogiezone Community friends and family. It’s me, Elm Pizarro, creator of Boogiezone and owner/director of Boogiezone Utopia – Laboratory for the Creative Arts in Torrance, CA.
This special place which has become home to so many artists young and old, is in serious danger of closing its doors.
We don’t have a whole lot of time, and I need your help! If we do not raise enough money, and soon, we will be forced to shut down!
For many years we have struggled to operate our 14,000sf building with little to no resources.

It’s in poor condition and is in need of some massive repair. To make matters worse we just received a formal 3-day notice to either pay $30,000 of missing/late payments to the landlord by this Friday August 17th or be forced to vacate our studio home.
Boogiezone has been going strong for years so how did this happen? This situation is the result of several unfortunate events: tax, fraud, and plumbing issues – creating a deep financial hole. 
The vision for Boogiezone goes beyond what I can manage on my own. 
I understand that it is a gigantic request, but I believe in some way or another that my message will reach the right hearts.
