#ThruHikeThursday: “Walking 1,000 miles has involved the following:
Soreness (everywhere), lizards and snakes, dropping a lot of stuff, blisters, crying while walking (alone), roughly 6 holes in my shorts, trail magic, 3 national parks, tripping and falling on my face, smiling/laughing/walking alone in the woods (looking like a total creep), long and short water carries, sleeping under the stars, running downhill, climbing up some of the most beautiful peaks I’ve ever seen, encounters with 2 pairs of mama/baby deers, SO many mosquitos, jumping into Yosemite waterfalls, my first bear sighting (from a safe distance), eating lots of food, smelling horrible, new relationships, cravings of food I would normally never eat, missing friends and family, alpine lakes, and so much more.
