The formation of the RAF in 1918 was positive for @ギーブス&ホークス , particularly as by 1920 a new uniform was introduced, which was sanctioned by George V. The young Duke of York (later George VI) married Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon in his Gieves RAF uniform, with the rank of Group Captain. Gieves also made RAF and naval uniforms for George V, a customer since 1922.
