Whenever I go overseas, I always travel with #worn_out clothes and shoes, take lots of pictures with them, and say goodbye to them at the end of the trip with many thanks.?? (Main purpose of this is to make extra room in my luggage on the way back so that I can fit new memories that I made during the trip✈️) The sandals of this picture were one of them. We traveled together many times and had lots of fun memories, but recently lost the chance to wear them. (The idea of letting things go with gratitude works well for me to avoid buying unnecessary things)

At the end of my latest trip to #Brazil , my host family mother, who is a dedicated #christian , suggested to #donate the clothes and shoes rather than to throw them away.
So this time, I said goodbye to them in a different style. Maybe they have been sent and welcomed by a new owner, continuing their journey...??? There aren’t many facilities in Japan that accept worn-out clothes yet. (Maybe if we do this in Japan, too many unnecessary clothes might arrive...?) Anyway, experienced this new way of saying goodbye to my beloved clothes in Brazil, I feel very happy up until today:)❤️.
