At matinee performance for July Ookabuki, my son is going to play the same role my father used to play at his young age. I will play the role my grandfather did with my kid. Also, at soiree performance, my son and I will stand on the stage performing as Hikaru Genji, which was a big hit role of my father and grandfather. I am very happy to play the same role with my son, and also I am happy to succeed it from them. It is very emotive to me. I think the career and history of Kangen is starting, and I believe the stage coming this July will be a very fruitful one for him. He is so appreciated to be picked for the article like this.
