When what you do is in the public eye, the more you will have to deal with people who underestimate you. - As the new owner of the Sendai 89ers BLeague Basketball team, I hear the naysayers who stand back without risk or responsibility and underestimate my team. - All my life I have had headphones on cancelling out those who told me what I wanted to do was impossible. - I have learned to never take these things personally because such people have never had the experience of starting something from zero, with out taking outside money. - If they did, they would know that anything is possible if you have the hunger and the drive and empathy. - So the next time someone tells you that you can't do something, smile, thank them for their advice and make your actions speak louder than your words. - Please follow our journey from the bottom to League Champions in 5 years.
