AFP presents a photo essay by photographer @johaynz on the old village of Luobozhai (Radish Village), which was damaged during the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, in Wenchuan county, Sichuan province. The village, on a small plateau near the top of a mountain, was badly damaged in the earthquake and most of the villagers moved to a new village nearby. China on May 12, 2018 will mark the 10-year anniversary of the quake which killed some 87,000 people across Sichuan province.
