FF ambassador, @cmurillophoto, conquered a dream this past weekend climbing Huayna Potosi in Bolivia. He writes, " After making it to the top of a massive peak, you would think that would make you feel so powerful, as if you were on top of the world. However, my experience was the complete opposite. I felt so tiny, so powerless. I was at the mercy of the mountain and I just felt fortunate that I had been allowed to make a successful summit attempt and then a safe return to base camp. When you get that feeling, it is hard to not think that there is some guiding light helping you along the way. You can prepare and train so much, but at the end of the day, the mountain decides what it wants to do with you and I have been extremely fortunate. I am not what some might consider the most spiritual person, but I am pragmatic and I understand the limits of my abilities and acknowledge when God has helped me. At this point, I just feel extremely thankful." One journey completed, onto the next! Congrats, @cmurillophoto!
