Chag pesach sameach! Tonight is the first night of #Passover, the holiday that commemorates the freedom of the Jews from slavery in ancient Egypt. This joyous holiday is celebrated with a ritual feast called a seder, during which families and friends retell the story of Passover, drink four cups of wine or grape juice, eat matzah, and celebrate freedom. In honor of one of the best parts of the meal, here are some of our favorite goblets from the collection.

“Goblet, ‘Venetian Series,’” 1981, by Fritz Dreisbach. “Goblet (called ‘Serpent Glass’),” c. 1660–85, Southern Netherlands or Germany. “Goblet,” 1908, designed by Harry J. Powell; made by James Powell & Sons, Whitefriars Glassworks, London. “Goblet, ‘Venetian’ series,” 1980, by Fritz Dreisbach.
