本日は、PORTER OMOTESANDOにて展開中の「ポーター グリッパー」より2WAYヘルメットバッグをご紹介いたします。1981年に発表した「グリッパー」は、同年に開催されたNYデザイナーズ・コレクティブに出展した製品の1つで、PORTERの国内外でのブランド認知度を上げるきっかけとなったシリーズです。発表当時の3つ穴デザインはそのままに、現代のライフスタイルに合わせたデザインで新たに蘇らせたアイテムです。メイン素材は横糸にムラ糸を用いて高密度に織り上げた日本製のコットンサテンを基布としたPVC加工生地を使用し、当時のグリッパー同様生地の表面、裏面を箇所によって使い分けています。 本日ご紹介する2WAYヘルメットバッグは、普段使い、スポーツ、1泊程度の旅行など様々なシーンに最適なアイテムです。是非店頭でご覧ください。

Today, we would like to introduce 2WAY HELMET BAG from ' PORTER GRIPPER' under development at PORTER OMOTESANDO. "GRIPPER " announced in 1981 is one of the products exhibited at the NY Designers Collective held in the same year, a series that gave PORTER a chance to raise brand awareness both in Japan and abroad. Three hole design at the time of the announcement is intact, it is a new item revived with a design tailored to the modern lifestyle. The main material uses PVC fabric made from Japanese cotton satin woven in high density using uneven threads for weft yarn, and as the gripper at the time, the front and back sides of the fabric are used separately according to the part.
