We're saddened at the loss of Betty Woodman, an influential sculptor whose career spanned from the 1950s to the present day. In 2006, The Met presented the first U.S. retrospective of the artist’s work and notably Woodman was the first living, woman-identified artist to have a retrospective at the Museum. #TheMet #BettyWoodman
