A little #bluesday inspiration from @superflexstudio: Superflex’s Flooded McDonald’s appears in #InfiniteBluebkm, the Museum’s cross-collection, cross-chronological display of artistic manifestations of the color blue. A major motif throughout the exhibition is how blue has conveyed the natural world, particularly sea and sky. While perhaps lacking blue hue, Flooded McDonald’s powerfully conveys water’s inescapable and destructive power. During filming the crew could stop the flow of water entering the set, but could not reverse the flooding that had already taken place. #infinitebluebkm
