If you are looking for a bridal inspiration, this post is not for you. Yes that’s me and below you see all my fashion disasters. The only thing that has not changed is that I am still the same pony in the far left corner ? 2017 has been an epic year for me. As long as I can remember a darkness has followed me and depression and anxiety was my constant companion. You would not have known as I kept it as my dirty little secret only known to few trusted. But it has also given me a lot. I am not the same person anymore as I have more empathy, forgiveness and I take a pause a lot to just be and not try to run away from it. I say NO to lot of things, try to be kind to myself and turn away from negative things whether it’s people, clients, work... anything really ?Looking at the pony girl in the picture, I knew that my depression was not me..it was something that came along as I grew older. I started looking for answers in functional medicine. It was honestly my saviour. None of the alternative therapies I tried along my journey provided answers but they brought a sense of peace and much needed mindfulness in my life. This year I truly healed my body and mind and I am ready for big things in 2018. ?????
