This wine pot is considered one of the finest Korean ceramics in the West. Why? Because of its cool green color, its ripe shape, and the delicate details of its lid and surface decoration. 850 years ago, colorful glazed ceramics were technological wonders, representing the highest achievements of geology, chemistry, and combustion engineering.
