Via @veterans_expeditions: "We ran our 8th Annual #911ClimbingSeries yesterday in #Colorado with a big turnout of #military #veterans. We #climbed to remember all those lost on 9/11 2001. We climbed for all those who served in the defense of our freedom and for those currently serving. We #climbed for the firefighters, the emergency medical responders, the stockbrokers, and all those at Ground Zero 16 years ago. We raised our nation's colors on all 3 Flatirons yesterday to show that we have not forgotten and that we will continue to fight and scrap for our freedom.
On these climbs our #veterans made our #community stronger while working together to reach the 3 summits. We celebrated the living as we paid our respects to the fallen."
