Negro League Baseball Museum was so awesome! It traced the origins of baseball from post-civil war era to the racism that divided players, and beginnings of Negro League just down the block here in KC. Jackie Robinson also played for the Kansas City Monarchs before being signed to Brooklyn Dodgers at age 28 in 1947 ⚾️ What a transformation in the past half century that paved the way for all nationalities to play and get paid. As in the case of desegregation, sometimes sports can lead a nation. ✊?
